i recently created cover
artwork for a great zine
in the uk called 'culture vulture'.

their eighth issue has just
recently been compiled and
printed up. i've yet to hold
the real thing in my hands, but

im off to darwin on wednesday.
and trying to kick the icky feeling
i got this morning after waking up
from some pretty strange dreams that
i cant even remember.

ive also noticed that my cold is going
away i had it for maybe almost a week.
i owe electricity money, that is exciting.
i also wont have any money til tuesday
because of bills and other things. i cant believe
how much i feel like a kid stuck in an adult's
body. bills? responsibility? really?

and rostered chores have me feeling really
good about helping to keep the house clean.
like i can accomplish anything remotely domestic.
like my apron and high heels are in order.
i actually like sweeping the floor. but maybe
vacuuming was always more fun.

im feeling the bite of winter, and noticing
how different it feels to last winter. where was
i ? what was i doing? i can remember so crystal clear.

well as the year progresses, i am cutting all my
ties and packing my bags to finally leave. and i mean
it this time. not just leave darwin. not just to leave
brisbane. but to leave australia. and finally find some
new peace of mind. start again and new. and maybe even
chop some wood for the fireplace and buy some mittens
for the effing snow.

i have indeed, cut my lip with
my thumb nail on the gum beneath
my tooth at the very front of my
mouth and it is seemingly swelling.

i have bought stuff for it. bonjella
similar stuff called sm-33. o_o

in other news , i am twenty.

ohhhh my goodness.

in other OTHER news, i am happy.
and also i am in winter! and also
i have artwork to share.

and also, i am trying to get a job
at rocking horse records. i want it
so much. u_u i drew on my resume,
and hopefully that won't be the death
of that dream.

also, new books coming out real soon!

and also, my mouse Chip escaped this
morning and she may get eaten. i hope not.
i pray she's okay.

i cant believe i just payed
a fine at the library for
130 dollars.

i am such a great girl.

i also just moved house in
with the lovely girls called
lucy , hannah and ashleigh.

they are soo nice and great
and lucy's cat monkey wants to
eat my mice!

i played a show on friday that
headlined with guy blackman who
is a really great musician.

rialto decibel choir, bigstrongbrute,
joel saunders and shiver like timber
also played. they were all so great.

i saw pikelet play supported by lets not
(but say we did) , josh armistead and guy
blackman on sunday.

let's not (but say we did) played a lovely
song by the name of which i cant remember.
i will call it the emily song. so fantastic.

guy played the song that has stayed in our
heads, 'i dont believe in marriage'. really
catchy and spooky stuff.

and josh wrote a quaint and lovely song about
records and a player.

and pikelet played a song with drums that was grand.
